David Johnstone, CEO of Free Holdings, formed the group with Lord Stanley Fink in 2004. Within Free Holdings, the unique collaboration of premium brands are able to interact and support each other, staying true to the founder’s philosophy that unity is strength.
Today the Free Holdings group continues to grow and develop, reflecting the exciting and dynamic nature of all the brands within it.

Since being set up in 2012 by the trustees, Lord Fink and David Johnstone, The Global Charity Trust has grown from strength to strength with the invaluable support of the brands within the Free Holdings group and our incredibly dedicated team along with thousands of individuals and our hundreds of global partnering brands.
The Global Charity Trust’s philanthropic mission is to have a social conscience and to directly support many local and worldwide charity projects by raising funds and awareness. The Trust works with a range of charities, from small projects to large endeavours, with a focus on health, the elderly, education, the environment, animal welfare, the arts and children’s wellbeing. To date the trust has raised in excess of £2,000,000 NET directly for good causes.
The Global Charity Trust is established under and regulated by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF, registered charity number 268369).
